This is simply brilliant! Yes a silent ringtone, a tone that is outside the audible range of hearing for most people over the age of 30! This means that the young amongst you can get phone calls and receive text messages in class or school without teachers hearing it! Clever stuff eh!?  The whole concept derives from a product called the Mosquito, a device that emits an annoying ultrasonic hum designed to deter teenage yobs from hanging around outside shops and public buildings. The vast majority of adults cannot hear the sound emitted. See if you can hear the silent ringtone here
